Birthday Parties Our birthday parties feature a two-hour fun and educational party for your child and their guests. The children will learn about nature and spend time outdoors (weather permitting). The first hour of our birthday program includes an animal meet and greet and either a craft or naturalist-led hike. The second hour is open for your own celebration activities. Parties are suitable for children ages 5 to 10.
Birthday Party Themes:
For our birthday programs, we base our animal meet and greet and hike or craft on your child’s interests. We are happy to work with you on what your child would be most interested in. Below are some example themes and activities:
Harry Potter: Owl Meet N Greet, wand craft
Survival Skills: Terrapin Meet N Greet, map & compass hike
Fairy Garden: Snake Meet N Greet, fairy house building
Cost
$350 for up to 15 children, including siblings, ages 1 to 12 years old with a maximum of 40 children and adults attending.

To schedule your child’s birthday party at our Mt. Pleasant location, please email the education director or call 410-465-8337.
Parties are currently only scheduled on Sundays.
Party Details
Parties are for 2 hours, with an additional 30 minute set-up and 30 minute clean up period.
The birthday party space must be cleaned up and all trash removed by the end of the clean up period.
If the weather cooperates, you can hold the party outside, in the picnic area.
We will provide a classroom, rectangular tables, and chairs.
We do not provide food, paper goods or supervision of children during the party.
Give the Gift of Giving
In lieu of gifts, your child may ask friends help make them our Critter Champion for a month. This is a great program to help feed our animal residents and teach children about charitable giving.
