Wedding and Event Rentals.

The Howard County Conservancy is a registered 501C-3 nonprofit whose mission is to educate children and adults about our natural world, preserve the land and its legacy for future generations and model responsible stewardship of our environment.

Located on Mt. Pleasant’s 232 scenic acres, the Gudelsky Environmental Education Center, is a 8,700 square foot facility with a large assembly room, classrooms, and an expansive deck. The building features many “green” elements, including bamboo and recycled tire flooring, LED/full spectrum lighting, and HardiPlank exterior siding. The assembly room is 2,400 square feet and can accommodate 150 guests seated banquet style or 200 seated theater-style or standing. The 1,900 square foot attached deck is included in all rentals of the assembly room and may be utilized to increase capacity. Evening and weekend rentals also include the use of the Conservancy’s 1.5 acre Honors Garden. For wedding rentals, the Conservancy offers use of up to 8 different ceremony locations.

Truly one of the best summer camps available. My kids have a newfound love for nature thanks to this camp and the wonderful counselors!

Summer camp at Howard County Conservancy was my son’s favorite part of the summer! Every single day he came home smiling and exhausted!

Every member of the staff was accommodating, responsive, and incredibly kind!
