Biodiversity Hike

In coordination with the Baltimore Area City Nature Challenge, the Howard County Conservancy will be offering a Biodiversity Hike at our Woodstock location. Learn about topics including birding, forestry, fungi, and more! No experience in wildlife/plant identification is needed! Recommended to bring a smartphone.

The City Nature Challenge is a global collaboration to document the plants and wildlife that survive and thrive in urban areas using the iNaturalist app.

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
