Creating Natural Holiday Wreaths

Join us as Nancy Grabowski, an experienced and creative landscape designer in Howard County, shows us how to create a natural wreath using a variety of fresh evergreen textures and colors with all natural materials including seed pods, cones, berries and fruit. Want to follow along with Nancy on Friday? Here is her supply list, although of course you can be as creative as you wish with your materials!
Materials list:
· Linesman pliers, pruners, scissors
· 12 pieces of 23 gauge florist wire 18 inches long
· Floral tape green
· 5 yards Red velvet outdoor ribbon 2 1/2 inches wide
· 5 pine cones (they can vary in size from 3″ to 2 1/2″)
· Five sprays of deciduous Holly berries
· Three sprays of magnolia grandiflora (the evergreen magnolia) try Valley View Farms, Franks Nursery in Elkridge, Sun Nursery or order them from a full service florist
· One handmade faux birds nest made from Spanish moss with two or three small bird eggs hot glued into the nest
