Fall Equinox Hike and Campfire

Sept. 23, 5 to 7 p.m./$
Walk along Conservancy trails to the woodland campfire ring as the birds sing their evening songs. Gather ’round the crackling fire for legends, songs and activities about the equinox, then roast marshmallows and enjoy s’mores. Stroll back to the Conservancy’s front meadow in time to watch the sun set due west over the horizon and hear other interesting astronomical facts about the fall equinox.
Admission (including s’mores) is $5 per person; kids younger than 10 attend for free.
Register hereSome walking along the Conservancy trails is involved. Please remember to wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather and footwear you do not mind getting a bit muddy. More details will be shared in a reminder email prior to the program.

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs.
