Jazz in the Garden with High Caliber

Join us for jazz on an autumn afternoon in the Bob & Janine Grossman Amphitheater. Bring your own lunch and enjoy a relaxing picnic in the John L. Clark Native Plant Garden while listening to a jazz quintet, High Caliber, playing America’s jazz standards. All ages welcome!

High Caliber is a jazz quintet consisting of five talented musicians. They play from the great American songbook by writers such as: Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Sammy Cahn, Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Jimmy Van Heusen and many more, with arrangements beautifully crafted to not only be true to the original melody but to highlight the talent of each member of the group. The performers include John Collins on trumpet, Al Caldwell on saxophone, Ray Maddox on upright bass, Mark Leppo on drums and Paul Walton on guitar.

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs.
