When spring arrives, Marti Ellerbrock prepares for field trip season by putting on her sturdy shoes, raincoat and enthusiastic smile. No matter the weather, Ellerbrock cheerfully leads giggling groups of elementary and secondary students on hikes through our grounds. She started two years ago after finishing her Master Naturalist certificate. “I enjoy volunteering for school field trips and find that each one is different. It’s energizing to see how excited kids are to come to the Conservancy.”
Thanks Marti, for building excitement for and connection to nature.
